Shi(f)t Happens

It's Thursday, August 19th.

Uranus is moving retrograde today. I'm in a bit of recovery.

Biodynamically, it's a 'fruit' day all day; numerologically, it's a '5' day. Even though today is about 'change and surprise,' it feels like this has been a BIG theme for the last few days. Weeks. Years.

And it's truly amazing to realize that we are co-creating and participating in the change - in real time! Here's a recap of the most recent adventure:

I spent some time yesterday morning moving the remaining manure onto garden beds, in anticipation of coming events here at the Barn. Really, it was quite amusing to be listening to Greg Holden, happily shoveling shit, and pausing to spin cartwheels, because - why not?

At 1:30 Bryn and Chris showed up to carpool to the Hall Art Foundation to attend the 'Hall Art for Educators' afternoon with me.

We headed out in good spirits, knowing that our showing up in defiance of their mask mandate might be controversial.

Sure enough, I got pulled to the side and given a bit of a lecture.

I provided some key points on masks (illegal, unethical, immoral) and then we proceeded to follow the group to the gallery. This is when we were instructed to 'wait outside.'

Yeeeeaaaah....it was at that point we left.

And from there, took a trip up the road, spontaneously inspired to see what this trip was really about: staying in our hearts and following our bliss.

Two Sacred Sites later, we decided to head to Woodstock for a late lunch - where we discovered a Farmer's Market where NO ONE was masked.

Cheese, brownies, and music - oh, my!

It was fabulous to connect with Jim and Jeff - both musicians who are excited to be coming to the Barn!

Then - after a visit to the Unicorn (best cards & gifts, ever!) we found Angkor Wat.

Delicious Cambodian food...yum.

Returning to Dream Barn Hollow there was a seeming glitch involving misplaced keys, which resulted in a spontaneous, powerful gathering &clearing:

  • Unwillingness to step out of obscurity; being willing to be seen & heard.

  • Blocks to owning & doing what we love; following our bliss

  • Inability to connect through space/time to our Ancestors & Ancient Cultures

It was a FULL DAY! (Thank you, Bryn, for the photos!)

Today it's raining here (even the weather is participating in this clearing!) and we are in "Gate 29.3 - Experiencing yourself or not is key today

Line 3 - Evaluation In this context, properly assessed inaction. Exaltation: Despite the urge and cost of inaction the knowledge that it is sometimes better to fight another day. The power to wait."

Shift is happening. As I withdraw my energy from what no longer serves, I can focus on what does - and it's encouraging to see how it's all playing out.
