The Hierophant

It's Tuesday, March 16th, 2021. It's a 'fruit' day, biodynamically, and a '6' day, numerologically...a good day to make adjustments. I finally finished sorting out some of the stuff in my business corner; honestly, for being a (supposedly organized) Virgo, I sometimes surprise myself with the amount of chaos I tolerate!

Perhaps this is why I can hold the extremes of what is still going on right now?

I had a lovely conversation with Anarka this morning, who mentioned that folks would do well to remember that it's all about staying aligned with Spirit.

Yes. True.

And she wears a mask, out of compassion for others.

Isn't it great that we can agree AND disagree?

It's the both/and/and principle...

Reading an article by Scott W. Atlas, MD this morning, these quotes were what struck me, powerfully: "In his book Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds,Charles Mackay wrote: “of all the offspring of Time, Error is the most ancient, and is so old and familiar an acquaintance, that Truth, when discovered, comes upon most of us like an intruder, and meets the intruder’s welcome.

Also: “Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.” Wow, huh?

When I considered what to write, I decided sharing paradoxes is important.

Here I am, getting 2020 paperwork together to take to my wonderful accountant to file taxes...and yet.

Legally, we are supposedly required to file - yet are they lawful? No.

I'm still caught up in this matrix, though; haven't fully disengaged, yet.... still navigating rules and principles.

When does one bend to not break?

This is the energy of today; Gate 36:Line 5 - The underground Exaltation: Perfected survival regardless of conditions. Immunity to crisis as both generator and survivor.

And the card? So perfect...again,'both/and:'

"When a Hierophant card comes up in a Tarot reading, look for some indicator of a preference for ritual and ceremony. In part, this can be interpreted as a need for acceptance from others, even from society as a whole. Think of it as a desire for institutionalized approval. The Hierophant indicates the importance of conformity - but keep in mind that belonging to a group isn't necessarily bad. A reversed Hierophant shows someone who's open to new ideas and willing to think outside the box. This is the card of the non-conformist -- the rebel, the hippie, the artist who colors outside the lines."
